Students of Semester V-B1, ME Visited Naveena Steel Mills Pvt Ltd

On 22 Oct 2024, Students of Sem V-B1, ME visited Naveena Steel Mills Pvt Ltd along with faculty member Ms. Eliya Abbas. The visit provided practical insights into industrial processes and machinery manufacturing. Naveena Steel Mills is setting up a steel melting and re-rolling mill with a capacity of 300,000 TPA of steel bars, aimed at fulfilling the country’s infrastructure development needs. The project utilizes the pioneering Continuous Casting production process, marking the first of its kind in Pakistan, and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure high efficiency and superior quality rebar steel production. Students observed advanced technologies and precision engineering techniques in machine tool production, enhancing their understanding of mechanical engineering principles. The interactive sessions and guided tours enriched the students’ academic learning experience by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
