NUST-PNEC 36th Convocation Ceremony

36th Convocation of Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC) was held on 20 Dec 24 at Pakistan Navy Engineering College. Admiral Naveed Ashraf NI(M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi HI(M), Commander Karachi and Lt General (Retd) Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif Mirza HI(M), Rector NUST also attended the convocation. Rector NUST conferred the degrees to graduating students.
A total of 372 x graduates were awarded Post and Undergraduate degrees. The Chief Guest also awarded medals to outstanding position holders.

During address, the Chief Guest highlighted that PNEC under the leadership of NUST has consistently demonstrated a commitment to promote a robust culture of research and development. The Chief Guest commended PNEC initiative in launching cutting-edge discipline of Artificial Intelligence (Al), Data Science and Computer Science at the postgraduate and undergraduate level. He also congratulated Rector NUST and Commandant PNEC on the historic occasion of the graduation of first batch of BE (Naval Architecture). In the end, he extended his heartiest felicitations to the graduating students and their parents upon successful culmination of their academic endeavors. He advised the graduates to be person of strong character, sacrifice their gains for the national interest and always seek guidance and strength from ALLAH (SWT).
