Career Guidance Session at NUST-PNEC

On 29 January 2026, Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), a constituent college of the National University of Sciences & Technology, Karachi, organized a Career Guidance Session on International Internships & Job Opportunities at Qantas & Jetstar Airways and Engineering in Practice.

The session aimed to provide engineering students with valuable exposure to the real-world application of engineering principles beyond the classroom. It was delivered by Hasheem Bin Nasir, an Aerospace Engineer and Strategy Professional, currently serving as Manager – Strategy & Projects (Flying Operations) at Jetstar Airways, part of the Qantas Group (Australia).

During the session, the speaker shared professional insights into engineering practices within the aviation industry, highlighted international career pathways, and discussed diverse career opportunities within global airline operations. The interactive discussion enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of how engineering expertise is applied in real-world aviation environments and how they can align their career aspirations with global industry demands.
