Students from Semester V-B2 EE Visited Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL)

On 24 October 2024, Students from Semester V-B2 EE visited Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL) along with Faculty Member Mr. Sajid Mehmood. This visit provided valuable gain hands-on experience in industrial applications of electrical engineering. LCPL is Pakistan’s sole producer of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA), a critical component in producing polyester fiber, filament yarn, film, and PET. This visit bridged theoretical concepts with practical, real-world applications, enhancing the students understanding of their field. The state-of-the-art plant demonstrated the importance of electrical engineering in maintaining efficiency and quality in large-scale production, while LCPL’s commitment to local supply and quality control supports Pakistan’s polyester industry and contributes to the growth of the textile and packaging sectors.
