On 29 October 2024, Students from Semester III-B1 EE visited Star Denim (Pvt) Ltd along with Faculty Member Dr. Farhan Khan. This visit offered hands-on exposure to industrial applications in electrical engineering. Star Denim, a prominent name in the woven garments industry, has gained a reputation for creating products aligned with the needs of its clients and the pride of its workforce. The company emphasizes sustainability, showcasing a state-of-the-art biological water treatment facility to minimize environmental impact. Additionally, Star Denim has invested in a 232.80 kW solar grid-tie system, underscoring its commitment to renewable energy and environmental responsibility. This experience allowed students to observe real-world engineering applications in a leading, eco-conscious manufacturing environment.
