Dr. Ihsan Ullah Khalil is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Pakistan Navy Engineering College, NUST, Karachi. He specializes in applying AI and machine learning to renewable energy and power systems, with a focus on fault forecasting. He earned his Ph.D. from the NUST College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Islamabad. Dr. Khalil has developed novel machine learning and deep learning algorithms for PV fault detection and forecasting, and his work has been featured in Global PV Magazine. He has published 35+ research articles in leading international journals and conferences and has led several commercial projects in the energy domain. He actively serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, IEEE Latin America Transactions, and other 10+ high-impact Scopus-indexed journals. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, PV systems, and reliability analysis of power converters.
