“PNEC has always been making concerted efforts to provide not only engineering / management sciences education to its students but also raise their awareness on various topics through guest lectures.”

A guest lecture was arranged by maritime sciences department on cyber security on 08 October 2021. The guest speaker Mr. Rahim has extensive experience in developing and testing of malware, computer penetration code and reverse engineering of such programs. He has conducted numerous workshops related to IT and Cyber security for different organisations.

The session was attended by NUST-PNEC faculty, postgraduate and undergraduate students and departmental staff. The session was very beneficial to inculcate in-depth knowledge of current cyber security paradigms and challenges in academia specifically.
